David Thomas enjoys writing and photography. He also hikes a great deal in the Shenandoah mountains and state parks of Virginia where he lives. He graduated with a BA in English Literature from Boston University, Massachusetts, and is retired from the Department of Veterans Affairs in Richmond, Virginia, where he worked with homeless veterans.
